Let's GO PURPLE this JUNE!

Let us join the Alzheimer's Association in going purple and raising awareness this June. ⁠Dementia is an umbrella word that encompasses a wide range of medical diseases, including Alzheimer's disease, similar to heart disease.

Abnormal brain alterations create disorders included under the umbrella term "dementia." These alterations cause a deterioration in thinking abilities, often known as cognitive capacities, that is severe enough to affect daily life and independence. They also have an impact on how people act, feel, and interact.⁠⁠

So as we end this month let us do all we can to raise awareness...let us all take part in communicating what Alzheimer's Disease is and how we can be of help to the community.
