Super Rylee!
Spreading some magic! Sharing our little superhero! "Rylee was born to an emergency c-section at 35 weeks with left mainstem bronchus compression." shares his dad @reintroductions. After an aortopexy, a procedure where the aortic arch is fixed to the sternum, and several weeks on CPAP, his airway was still not able to maintain the rigidity needed for normal breathing.
Imagine how strong and brave this little warrior that at 2 months of age, his parents opted for a tracheostomy, and with the support of a ventilator, he is able to retain normal lung function.
After 6 months in the hospital, 1 month at a level 3 NICU, 2 months at a level 4 NICU and 3 months at a rehabilitation facility, they were finally able to bring Rylee home.
Rylee's parents are also an inspiration to all the parents; they said that caring for Rylee has its challenges but they continue to push forward as a family. They are looking forward to that day that Rylee's condition will improve in approximately 1 - 2 yrs of age. We are excited to witness that Rylee, join this little superhero in his journey. Follow @everybodylovesrylee, thank you for being part of your journey. 💗
